A basic policy of the University of Notre Dame is to provide a safe working environment for its students and employees. A commitment to safety is especially important in university laboratories where many potential safety hazards exist. NDNF Safety Policy: The staff and management of the NDNF have implemented all reasonable measures to ensure that the laboratory provides a clean and safe working environment. It is the responsibility of all users and staff to act in a professional, courteous, and safe manner at all times while in the facility. Adherence to these safety recommendations will reduce laboratory accidents, spills, and fires.
